On the Marriott Hotel job, we installed the 278 shower doors the hard, but right way. We secured the fixed panels with clamps that required precision holes through custom glass, rather than channel set which is typically used on a volume project. Why? Because the fixed panels are now securely installed and will not come loose over time from repeated opening/closing/slamming. Sure, it was much harder to do the shower doors with no adjustability on the fixed panels and every single lite of glass totally custom, but the end result is a much more safe and durable installation.
